This course is based on and extended from the YTI Yoga in a Chair training course. It is designed for those who wish to share Yoga type movements in a hospital/nursing home/community care setting. The course is for qualified yoga teachers and healthcare professionals who have some yoga experience.
The course will take place in Marino Institute of Education on the 24th, 25th February and 9th, 23rd March – 4 days training.
Each day will run from 10am to 4.30pm – with the final day involving a sharing of teaching skills.
Along with tutoring team Elma Toland, Esther Wall and Jakki Reid; Dr. Padraic Dunne from the RCSI and Nora Conway, Social Prescriber and Community Link Worker from Cork will have an involvement in the course.
Cost for the 4 days including course manual, certification and assessment is E453.00 to members of YTI – otherwise E483.00.
