Introducing Linda Southgate

Linda has been teaching Yoga for over 25 years. She initially trained as a Yoga Teacher with the Irish Yoga Association and then continued her training with Jenny Beeken through Yoga of the Heart. She has also completed the Yoga Therapy Medical Foundation Course – structured by Dr. Robin Monro of the Yoga Biomedical Trust, London and internationally recognised as a qualification of very high standard.

Linda has a Diploma in Nutrition, Herbs and Supplements from the Irish Association of Health Stores and has completed a course in Bio-Energy.

She gives regular talks on Yoga Therapy, Stress Management & Menopause.

She is a Director of The Healthy Way, Leixlip, Co. Kildare, where she holds Yoga classes each week. Having recently moved to Wexford, Linda also teaches a number of classes in the New Ross area.

Together with Elma Toland, Linda presented a Yoga workshop for the Midwives in the National Maternity Hospital, Dublin. She also organises and runs an annual Yoga Holiday in Clonmany, Co. Donegal.

She has been and continues to be a Teacher Training Course Facilitator with Yoga Therapy Ireland, since the organisation’s inception and is also currently facilitating on the Post Graduate Yoga Course.
