Our one-year training course, held over 11 full days in Marino Institute for Education, Dublin will provide a supportive and stimulating approach to help you further your Yoga Journey and realise your full potential as a yoga teacher. This course is best suited to teachers with at least two year regular Yoga teaching experience.
Course emphasis, which is organic and interactive, is on the therapeutic approach to Yoga teaching and practice. Regular personal practice will be encouraged to include asana, pranayama and meditation.
Sample course areas
Deepen your understanding of Anatomy and explore the anatomy of the yoga asanas in order
- to teach yoga more safely
- to understand the practice limitations which may be encountered in a regular yoga class
- to understand the common medical conditions and any other difficulties likely to be encountered in a regular yoga class
On the Postgraduate Course, the practical application and usefulness of this knowledge will be explored in a workshop setting to:-
- Fine tune your teaching skills
- Gain inspiration for your classes
