What is Yoga Therapy Ireland?
Yoga Therapy Ireland is one of Ireland's most professional Yoga organisations. It is a non-profit making association and is a registered charity that is open to all involved and interested in Yoga at any level. It was formed by five like minded Yoga Teachers and Therapists - Marie Lennon, Helen Morrow, Maureen Nightingale, Linda Southgate and Elma Toland. Each member of the Yoga Therapy Ireland team believe deeply in the benefits of Yoga. Its principle aims are to promote yoga throughout Ireland and to strive for Unity among all Irish Yoga Organisations.

The organisation has links with the Yoga Biomedical Trust, London and the British Wheel of Yoga. It is supported by a team of highly qualified Yoga Teachers / Therapists who, as well as offering regular Yoga classes, specialise in Individual Yoga Therapy consultations for Pregnancy, Arthritis, Back Pain, Breathing Difficulties, MS, Asthma etc.
Yoga Therapy Ireland also has experience in providing workshops for Stress Management within the Corporate Sector. To date, we have a high percentage of teachers working with companies in the business sector.

We also offer Post Graduate yoga training, In-Service yoga training for qualified Yoga teachers, Tutor training, and Membership facility. Yoga Therapy Ireland provides an accredited Yoga Teacher Training Diploma Course of two years duration. We also present regular Seminars and Workshops, structured to heighten public awareness of Yoga as an effective Therapy for Common Ailments.
